1. Who we are
The Greater Manchester Hospices Provider Collaborative ("GM Hospices", "we", "us") is a collaborative of independent hospice charities operating across Greater Manchester. For the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, the Collaborative acts as data controller for personal data submitted through this website.
You can contact us about privacy or data protection matters at martin.foster@moyacole.org.uk.
2. What data we collect
- Contact form submissions: your name, email address, organisation (if provided) and the content of your message.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information and pages visited. Where analytics cookies are accepted, this data is collected via Google Analytics with IP anonymisation enabled.
3. How we use your data
- To respond to enquiries you send us via the contact form.
- To understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it (analytics).

4. Lawful basis
- Consent (Article 6(1)(a)): for non-essential analytics cookies and for handling the information you voluntarily submit through the contact form.
- Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)): for keeping the site secure and operational.
5. Sharing your data
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:
- The relevant Collaborative member(s) needed to answer your enquiry.
- Our service providers who host the site and process contact form messages on our behalf, under written agreements.
- Google (Google Analytics) if you have accepted analytics cookies.
6. International transfers
Some of our providers (including Google) may process data outside the UK. Where this happens, appropriate safeguards such as UK International Data Transfer Agreements or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses are in place.
7. How long we keep it
Contact form messages are retained for up to 24 months so we can follow up on related correspondence, after which they are deleted. Analytics data is retained for the default Google Analytics period of 14 months.
8. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
